Linux's
I've reccently become terribly bored with the Ubuntu interface - And I'm looking to switch distro's, I've downloaded Vector Linux and Dream Linux (they appear similar in interface) but was wondering any other suggestions.
I do like the basic Genome interface, but bored of it.
And if Kubuntu is any indication of KDE GUI.... not sure I'd like it because it just reminds me of windows, but prettier.
Also, I apologize in advance for any misused terminology, but am sure someone will have a good lol @ it.
If you install Fedora 9, you'll get the sexy new KDE 4. It has a lot of changes from prior versions. If you just want a different look, then try Xubuntu. It uses Xfce for its desktop environment. You can install it to your current Ubuntu install with the following:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install xubuntu-desktop
+1 on the KDE 4 suggestion. OpenSuse 11 comes with a pretty good KDE 4 implementation as well.
