The categories are dead. Long live the tags!

Lots of new features this time.

  • Tagging (Infinite possibilities for classification)
  • No categories any more.
  • Markdown is stored in the database now for better load speeds.
  • Easier to edit your posts and report abuse.

I'm glad you like 'em. Here's a few more things to look forward to.

  • An API for posting, replying, and getting entries. This probably will not be used by anyone but myself, unless DCI gets really big.
  • Sexy AJAX all around the site, so visitors will not have to have those full page loads. You'll also get fading in/out effects. This uses the API mentioned before.
  • A search functionality. This is really easy and will probably be the next thing you see.
