360 Controllers With Linux.

I'm trying to get my Xbox Controller to work with Hardy Heron Ubuntu. Umm... Basically I've been browsing around the web and I've found a few guides but they are mainly for wireless and throw in some wired info in randomly; which confuses me. So basically just a guide would be nice, my wrists will thank-you!

I'll do some research for you. :) I have a partial 360, thanks to Hanpan and Zero.

I felt bad for kind've leaving this but the problem somewhat fixed itself when my wired controller disappeared and my roommates acted all suspicious when I asked them about it.

I only have the wireless controller. You have looked at this HOWTO, correct?

At the very top it says...

This HOWTO deals with the installation and configuration of Microsoft® Xbox 360™ controllers; both the USB and wireless.

...so this should work for you. At which part exactly does it hang?
