Mint Linux

So after falling out of love with Xubuntu I thought I'd try a new distro, so I got mint Linux- which I LOVE! Only one problem usually when I install 7zip I use the built in installation program, except mint linux doesn't have it listed and I've spent a lot of time being like "omg what do I do" and even more time reading tut's and trying to make sense of the the readme file that comes with 7zip.

In other news I finally bought a new wired 360 controller and it works!

PS: I know there used to be an off-topic portion to this forum, is off-topic discussion still allowed?

Hurray! I love OT. Also I has a headache from trying to:

Get 7zip to work. Get Epsxe to work.

Owwie!

Update: Problem with 7zip no longer a problem.

How did you fix it? Do they have a p7zip package?

Epsxe is a pain, even on Windows, IIRC.

Yeah, I remember fiddling around with espxse on windows- wasn't toooo bad. Linux makes me cry- actually it gave me a headache and made me mean to a friend asking me to proofread something.

7zip was primarily for n64 roms (mupen64 works with 360 controller! :D ) and I found myself a limited solution of downloading roms from a different website.
