I'm excited this year. The summer drought is almost over. Here's my list of games I'm waiting for, in addition to the ones you've mentioned, ordered by release date:
- Wolfenstein to be released August 18th for the PC, PS3, and 360. This might even be available on Linux, considering this is id Software. From what I've seen, this game is about mangling Nazis in the most fantastic way possible, more than previous Wolfensteins by a few folds.
- Scribblenauts to be released September 15th for the DS. This is the game in which steak can be attached to a baby to attract lions and more fun stuff. Yeah, I preordered it. :)
- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves to be released October 13 for PS3. I really enjoyed the first and I'm expecting a lot from this release.
- Way of the Samurai 3 to be released October 13th for PS3 and 360. About time this series was extended!
- Modern Warfare 2 to be released November 10 for PC, PS3, and 360. I missed out on the first modern warfare, but I really enjoyed World at World. The gameplay looks good.
- Assassin's Creed II to be released November 17 for PC, PS3, and 360. The first is one of my favorites games and hoping this one will not let me down.
Add God of War 1 & 2 to be released for the PS3 during the holiday season.
Sribblenauts does look interesting ...seriously a pyro? i was watching trailers saying no way to myself the whole time
I'm looking forward to Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver, and Duke Nuke'm Forever! (amirite?)
That being said I just read a review for Theresia for the DS, seems solid.
I actually kind of enjoy that I am a bit younger than you all and when there is a dry spell gaming wise I just go back and check out all the old PS2 games I missed.
That being said you can always do that with SNES games... or revisit them. Replaying Super Mario World and Super Mario Kart... SO GOOD!
But seriously... pokemon remakes are actually going to be worth it.
My SNES doesn't work on my new TV...I hope didn't break it...Pokemon remakes? what is there to remake all the games are pretty much the same
all work and no play make Human a dull boy. I can't say i am looking forward to any new games that are coming out.
I'm looking forward to Wolfenstein and Mass Effect 2. I know there are a couple others but I'm spacing at the moment.
