Uncharted 2
I just beat it and I give this the Lethal Seal of Approval. One of the few times I've thought a game was worth every cent. One of the most visually appeal games I've played on current gen consoles and the controls are very forgiving. A lot more opportunities for stealth in this release make for more engaging gameplay than a series of firefights. I'm trying hard to find a flaw with this game, but I can't find one.
The last boss on this one is such a bitch, at least on Hard difficulty. It took me about five tries to get him. There's not much strategy to it. Just find the route that works best for you. The best place to catch him is the limb that forms an arched bridge. And when he starts throwing three or four grenades at you, concentrate on following your route. They're easier to dodge than they look.
Speaking of grenades, the AI seems to have the constant luck of having theirs perch on my shoulder throughout the game. Maybe this is just my difficulty setting. I'm expecting one on each shoulder in Crushing difficulty.
Now that I've finished the campaign, it's on to multiplayer!
