What area of CIS are you trying to get in? I did Linux system administration for a while, mostly Debian Edge and Centos 5 systems.
Well, my degree program is half management, and the other half are mostly computer programming classes. I'd say my specialization would have to be computer networking since I already have my CCNA certification. Its really fun stuff. Although I should probably take linux too... after using it for 5 years I'm sure it would be a really easy class.
