Intel Core i7 960 ($570)
RAM
Corsair XMS3 Tri Channel 12GB ($230)

Case
Cooler Master HAF 932 Full Tower Black Case ($140)
Power Supply
Corsair TX750W 750-Watt Power Supply ($110)
Comes out to about $2,500 I was wondering how it looks to you? Or if you have any suggestions for improvement or whatever.
and this is the reason i asked you before i bought anything. So with all those changes it comes out to about 1,791 is there anything else i need? what about a wireless card?
No problem. That $500+ you save could be used to buy other things. This system is better than my current box with the exception of number of cores, 4 vs. 6, and hard drive space, 1.08TB vs. 5.5TB. I didn't even know tri-channel was a thing until today.
Where the hell are you buying this from? Half the price on that i7 960, right here.
Save yourself about $100 on memory and just get six of these. Timings are the same as the memory you have up there. They do support tri-channel setups.
I hope they give you a kiss with that $680 video card. Here's a better one for $365.
You probably don't need the soundcard. Your motherboard already supports 7.1 audio.
Any reason you are buying two optical drives? According to Tigerdirect, that Pioneer burns DVDs and CDs as well.
